Ingredients
- 4 c. milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Method
- Mix above ingredients in 3 quart boiler (double).
- Cook on medium high until thickened.
- Line a big ovenproof bowl with layer of vanilla wafers.
- Layer sliced bananas over wafers.
- Pour a layer of pudding over the bananas.
- Continue in layers until all used. Beat egg whites, gradually adding 1/2 cup sugar until whites stand in peaks.
- Spread over top of pudding.
- Brown slightly in 450° oven.
