- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. hamburg
- 2 sliced green peppers
- 3 medium onions
- 2 stalks celery
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- hot red pepper flakes
Method
- Brown garlic in oil; add hamburg.
- Add peppers, onions, celery and water
- and
- simmer.
- Add other ingredients.
- Cook 2 to 3 hours on
- low heat, stirring often.
- Serve on spaghetti, macaroni or on scrambled eggs.
- Add mushrooms, if wanted.
