Ingredients
- 1 c. macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 lb. grated cheese (sharp or extra-sharp)
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. bread crumbs
Method
- Cook, drain and rinse macaroni.
- Melt the 4 tablespoons of butter and add flour; blend on low heat.
- Slowly add milk; bring to the boiling point, stirring constantly.
- Add cheese; cook until cheese is melted and sauce is thickened.
