Ingredients

  • 2 c. macaroni
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • Lawry's salt to taste
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • seasoned bread crumbs

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Boil macaroni and drain.
  • In a separate pan, melt and mix butter with flour and Lawry's salt.
  • Add milk and stir until it boils.
  • Let boil one minute, then add shredded Cheddar cheese and Lawry's salt.
  • Mix well with macaroni in a casserole dish.
  • Top with seasoned bread crumbs, cover completely. Bake uncovered for 18 to 20 minutes.
