Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Sift sugar and flour together in a bowl and set aside.
- In a saucepan, mix margarine, shortening, cocoa and water.
- Bring to a rapid boil and pour over sugar and flour mixture.
- Add milk, eggs, baking soda and salt.
- Pour into a well-greased brownie pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.
