Ingredients

  • 1 box elbow macaroni
  • sharp cheese
  • milk
  • saltines
  • season to taste

Method

  • Quantity of cheese, milk and saltines depends on your individual taste.
  • Cook macaroni as direction states on box and drain well.
  • Lightly grease or spray with Pam a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish. Spread 1/2 of macaroni in bottom of dish.
  • Slice cheese and lay 1/2 of slices over macaroni.
  • Spread remaining macaroni on top of cheese, then cover with remaining cheese to complete second layer.
  • Crumble saltines and sprinkle over top. Add enough milk to cover both layers of macaroni.
  • Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until milk is set.
