Ingredients
- 2 lb. sausage
- 12 slices bread
- 8 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 qt. whole milk
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Place 6 slices of bread on the bottom of an extra large casserole pan.
- Brown sausage and drain.
- Spread half of sausage on bread.
- Spread half of both cheeses over sausage.
- Layer again. Mix egg, milk and salt; pour over layers.
- Cook, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350°.
- Serves 8 to 10.
