Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. sliced calf liver
- seasoned flour
- 6 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
Method
- Dredge liver with seasoned flour; saute in hot fat until slightly brown.
- Place in greased baking dish.
- Cover with onions. Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with bacon.
- Add 1/2 cup hot water; cover.
- Bake in preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes, adding more water, if needed.
- Remove cover; bake 10 minutes longer.
