Ingredients

  • 6-12oz chicken breasts
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 4 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tsp celery salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. shortening

Method

  • Cut chicken breasts in half and wipe well with damp paper twoels.
  • In lage bowl combine sour cream, worcestshire sauce, celery salt, paprika, garlic and pepper. Add chicken coating well. Cover bowl and and refrigerate overnight (24 hours).
  • Preheat oven to 350. Melt shortening and oleo. Remove chicken from bowl and roll in bread crumbs coating evenly. Arrange chicken in a single layer in large shallow baking pan. Spoon half the oil over the chicken and bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Spoon additional oil of chicken and bake add'l 15 minutes.
