Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 4 c. hot mashed potatoes
  • 1 lb. cooked and buttered baby carrots

Method

  • Combine
  • and
  • blend all ingredients except mashed potatoes and carrots.
  • Pack
  • into
  • greased
  • 9-inch round mold. Bake at 350°
  • for
  • 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Gently remove meat from mold.
  • Place on
  • platter.
  • Center
  • of
  • meat may be filled now with mashed potatoes surrounded by baby carrots.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
