Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Method
- Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt in a saucepan.
- Blend with 1/4 cup water until smooth.
- Then add remaining water.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
- Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients.
- Makes 1 1/3 cups of sauce.
- Serve on plain sheet cake or spice or etc.
