Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1/2 lb. crawfish tails
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 c. crab meat

Method

  • Brown onion and garlic in butter.
  • Add crawfish and crab meat, 1/2 of bread crumbs, water and lemon juice.
  • Cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
  • While mixture simmers, line muffin tins with paper liners.
  • Heat oven to 450°, then fill muffin tins 3/4 full with mixture.
  • Top each cup with the remaining bread crumbs.
  • Place in hot oven for 5 to 8 minutes until top bread crumbs brown a bit.
