Ingredients
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 small box lemon jello
- 4 Tbsp. lemon extract
- 1 c. apricot nectar
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
Method
- Mix cake mix, oil, jello, lemon extract and apricot nectar in a large bowl.
- Add egg yolks and beat well.
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Bake 1 hour at 325° in greased and floured tube pan.
- Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice and pour over cake while it is still hot.
