Ingredients
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup minced scallion or shallot
- 1/4-1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 tsp minced fresh oregano
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Method
- Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 3 mins, or until tender. Drain.
- Meanwhile, melt butter over medium heat. Cook scallion for 1 min. Add green beans, lemon pepper seasoning, oregano and lemon juice, tossing to coat. Serve warm.
