Ingredients

  • 2 large avocados, peeled, seeded and mashed
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar picante sauce
  • 3/4 c. chopped ripe olives (optional)
  • 3 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 16 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Mix the first 4 ingredients and spread in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the sour cream over avocado mixture.
  • Mix the cream cheese and picante sauce and spread over sour cream.
  • Combine the olives and tomatoes and spread over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle cheese over top.
  • Serve with large corn chips.
