Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 8 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Brown beef,
  • onions
  • and
  • garlic in skillet. Drain fat. Stir in tomato
  • sauce,
  • parsley,
  • salt
  • and
  • oregano.
  • In
  • 8 x 12-inch shallow
  • baking dish, layer the spaghetti, meat sauce, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese. Top with Parmesan.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Makes 5 servings.
