- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 2 c. hot water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 (12 oz.) carton Ricotta cheese
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
Method
- In hot oil in a heavy saucepan (use your large spaghetti pot), brown garlic and beef.
- Cook and stir until crumbly, about like spaghetti.
- Add salt, pepper, sweet basil, parsley, Parmesan cheese and tomato paste blended with hot water.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
