Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 teaspoon basil
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1.5 (19 ounce) cans tomatoes
  • 1 (5 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 9 -10 lasagna noodles
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 2 12 cups cottage cheese (beat with eggs)
  • 2 eggs
  • 14 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 12 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded

Method

  • Brown meat and spoon off fat.
  • Add next 6 ingredients and mushrooms.
  • Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook noodles.
  • While noodles and sauce simmer, combine cottage cheese, eggs, parsley and pepper.
  • Place in layers.
  • Meat sauce first, then noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese mixture, and parmesean.
  • Cover with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake at 375F for 35 minutes, uncovered.
