- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 teaspoon basil
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1.5 (19 ounce) cans tomatoes
- 1 (5 ounce) can tomato paste
- 9 -10 lasagna noodles
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
- 2 12 cups cottage cheese (beat with eggs)
- 2 eggs
- 14 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 12 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded
Method
- Brown meat and spoon off fat.
- Add next 6 ingredients and mushrooms.
- Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles.
- While noodles and sauce simmer, combine cottage cheese, eggs, parsley and pepper.
- Place in layers.
- Meat sauce first, then noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese mixture, and parmesean.
- Cover with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 375F for 35 minutes, uncovered.
