- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 clove garlic or garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. snipped parsley (optional)
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 carton Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
Method
- Early in the day in hot skillet, saute onion in salad oil. Add chuck.
- Cook until red color disappears.
- Mash garlic with salt or use garlic salt.
- Add to meat with pepper, oregano, parsley, tomatoes, tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese and simmer 30 minutes. Refrigerate (not necessary).
- Meanwhile, boil lasagna noodles in water and butter or as label directs.
- Drain and rinse in cool water.
