- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 lb. (No. 2 can) stewed tomatoes
- 1 c. creamy cottage cheese
- 2 c. Ricotta cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Brown meat in olive oil, then add other ingredients and simmer 1/2 hour.
- Separately combine 1 cup creamy cottage cheese, 2 cups Ricotta cheese, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, 1 beaten egg, 1 tablespoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
- Cook a 10 ounce box lasagna noodles.
- In a baking dish, alternate layers of noodles, sauce, cottage cheese mixture and shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Top with Mozzarella cheese and bake in 350° oven for 1/2 hour.
