Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) box lasagna noodles
  • 3 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 6 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large container Ricotta cheese

Method

  • Cook the lasagna noodles and drain well.
  • Brown ground chuck and add salt and pepper and Italian spices to taste.
  • When meat is browned, add spaghetti sauce and heat thoroughly.
  • In 9 x 13-inch pan, begin layering.
  • Start with noodles, then meat mixture and 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese.
  • Begin another layer of noodles, meat mixture and whole container of Ricotta cheese.
  • Begin last layer of noodles, meat mixture and top with remaining 3 cups of Mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
