- 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 29 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2/3 c. pepperoni and/or Italian sausages
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. sliced olives
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. Ricotta cheese
- 3 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Method
- Brown ground beef.
- Drain.
- Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in 1/2 teaspoon sugar, tomatoes, pepperoni, onions, olives and bell pepper.
- Simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
- Bring 4 cups of water to rapid boil.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 cup oil.
- Add lasagna and cook, uncovered, for approximately 20 minutes.
- Drain lasagna and rinse in cold water.
