Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, cooked
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 2 c. tomatoes
  • 12 oz. tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin

Method

  • Cook first 6 ingredients together to make meat sauce.
  • Mix remaining ingredients together except for the Mozzarella cheese to make the cheese mixture.
  • Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Put thin layer of tomato sauce mixture in bottom of pan.
  • Next, layer uncooked lasagna noodles, next 1/2 of cottage cheese mixture and then 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat layering, saving some tomato mixture for top.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake at 350° for 60 minutes.
