Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles (about 9)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced or 1/4 tsp. granulated garlic
  • 1 medium onion or 1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 2 well-beaten eggs
  • 1 pt. cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese (6 thin slices)
  • Parmesan cheese
  • parsley flakes

Method

  • Cook noodles by directions.
  • Brown ground beef, drain and add seasonings (except parsley).
  • Add tomato paste and water; simmer 5 minutes.
  • Blend eggs and cottage cheese; set aside.
