- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles (about 9)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced or 1/4 tsp. granulated garlic
- 1 medium onion or 1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 well-beaten eggs
- 1 pt. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese (6 thin slices)
- Parmesan cheese
- parsley flakes
Method
- Cook noodles by directions.
- Brown ground beef, drain and add seasonings (except parsley).
- Add tomato paste and water; simmer 5 minutes.
- Blend eggs and cottage cheese; set aside.
