- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 c. tomato juice
- 2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 lb. uncooked lasagna noodles
- 16 oz. cottage cheese
- 1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
- 2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Brown ground beef and add first 10 ingredients.
- Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
- Layer noodles, sauce and cheeses in 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle top with parsley flakes.
- Bake 30 minutes (covered) at 350°.
- Bake 30 more minutes, uncovered.
- Let set about 10 minutes before serving.
