Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 c. tomato juice
  • 2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lb. uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
  • 2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Brown ground beef and add first 10 ingredients.
  • Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Layer noodles, sauce and cheeses in 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle top with parsley flakes.
  • Bake 30 minutes (covered) at 350°.
  • Bake 30 more minutes, uncovered.
  • Let set about 10 minutes before serving.
