Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice, basmati
  • 500 g green beans
  • 14 cup oil, corn
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 green pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 3 cups stock, chicken, beef, vegetable

Method

  • Wash rice; soak 30 minutes.
  • Trim green beans; cut.
  • I think they shell some of the beans.
  • Heat the oil; add onion and garlic; cook low so you don't burn them.
  • Add green beans, green pepper, salt and pepper, and coriander.
  • Heat low; cook 15 minutes.
  • Add rice and stock bring to a boil.
  • Cover and put at low simmer for 20 minutes; do not lift the lid.
  • You have to flip this over on a plate when done.
