Ingredients
- 2 cups rice, basmati
- 500 g green beans
- 14 cup oil, corn
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 3 cups stock, chicken, beef, vegetable
Method
- Wash rice; soak 30 minutes.
- Trim green beans; cut.
- I think they shell some of the beans.
- Heat the oil; add onion and garlic; cook low so you don't burn them.
- Add green beans, green pepper, salt and pepper, and coriander.
- Heat low; cook 15 minutes.
- Add rice and stock bring to a boil.
- Cover and put at low simmer for 20 minutes; do not lift the lid.
- You have to flip this over on a plate when done.
