Ingredients
- Fresh cucumbers for 5 qt.
- 5 cloves garlic
- fresh dill- 10 heads
- hot red pepper
Method
- Sterilize 5 quart jars and lids.
- Wash fresh cucumbers and pack into hot jars.
- To each quart add:
- 1 clove garlic, 2 heads fresh dill, small piece of hot red pepper.
- Combine 1 cup of pickling salt, 3 cups water and 1 quart cider vinegar.
- Bring to boil.
- Fill jars to within 1/2 inch of top with boiling mixture.
- Adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath for 20 minutes.
