Ingredients
- 4 lb. lean beef short ribs
- 3/4 c. short ribs
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 small clove garlic, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. m.s.g. (optional)
- 1 tsp. minced ginger
Method
- With bone side down, make a lengthwise cut in each piece, cutting beef halfway to bone. Cut crosswise at 1/2-inch intervals. Meat will look like a fan.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a blender. Pour sauce over meat before broiling.
- Place on hot grill and brown on all four sides.
- Cook until brown and crusty.
