Ingredients
- 12 egg yolks
- 2 lb. lard
- 1 large cake yeast
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 2 c. milk
- pinch of salt
- flour
Method
- Combine water and yeast. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
- Knead until dough is smooth or until dough works clean from hands. Wrap in towel and put in cold water.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle board with powdered sugar and roll out dough. Cut into squares and fill with favorite filling.
