Ingredients

  • 2 packages jello orange
  • 2 cups water hot
  • 1 cup water cold
  • 1 can apricots drained, save the juice
  • 1 can pineapple crushed, drained, save the juice
  • 1 package marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 each eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 package whipped topping, prepared
  • 1 x longhorn cheese grated

Method

  • Mix together jello, water, apricots and crushed pineapple.
  • When jello starts to set up, press one solid layer of small marshmallows over the top.
  • Mix together juice, flour, butter, egg, and sugar.
  • Cook this sauce until thick, stirring constantly.
  • This sticks easily.
  • Prepare cool whip and fold it into the sauce.
  • Put the sauce over the top of the marshmallows.
  • Sprinkle coarsely grated cheese on top, about 1/2 cup total.
  • Don't use too much cheese.
  • Chill before serving
