Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 small can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Method
- Beat egg whites stiff.
- Mix together flour, sugar, Crisco oil, cinnamon, egg yolks, pineapple, juice and nuts.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Grease tube pan and flour.
- Place in cold oven and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- After cake is cool, pour on running icing.
