- 2 lg. onions, chopped
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 tbsp. Tabasco sauce
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1-1/4 cup flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- Toast
- Turkey slices
- Country ham slices
- Tomato slices
- Parmesan cheese
Method
- In a large sauce pan, saute onions in margarine until transparent.
- Add: Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and flour; stir into a rue and let bubble over medium heat.
- Slowly add milk to make a medium sauce.
- Add cheeses and stir to blend until cheeses are melted and hot.
- To assemble Hot Brown Sandwich top two slices of toast with 2 ounces sliced turkey and 2 ounces of country ham; cover with sauce.
- Garnish with 2 slices cooked bacon and 2 slices tomato; sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Heat in oven or micrwave until sauce bubbles.
