Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • In a saucepan, melt 1 cup butter.
  • Stir in cocoa and water.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine flour, brown sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • Add cocoa mixture; beat well.
  • Stir in 1/3 cup of Eagle Brand milk, eggs and vanilla.
  • Pour into a greased 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan.
  • Bake 15 minutes.
