Ingredients
- 300 g chicken
- 1 clove *garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp *sake
- 1 Tbsp *soy sauce
Method
- Chop the chicken into about 3 cm pieces and put into a bowl.
- Grate or slice garlic into small/thin pieces.
- Add garlic, sake and soy sauce to the bowl and mix together very well with your hands.
- Leave for at least 30 min to allow the chicken to soak in all flavour.
- Before frying, dust each chicken piece with potato starch.
- A deep frying pan or wok is best for frying.
- Heat the pan and add enough oil to cover all the chicken.
- Once hot, carefully add the pieces of chicken one by one.
- When the chicken has turned a nice golden-brown colour (about 5 to 10 minutes), flip each piece to ensure even cooking.
- Once cooked, enjoy!
