Ingredients

  • 2 (3 ounce) packages Jello gelatin (lemon, orange, or lime)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups 7-up (or similar soda)
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 2 bananas, slice
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 20 ounces juice from the 20 oz can pineapple
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (20 ounce) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 cup of grated cheese

Method

  • dissolve jello in hot water.
  • add soda and stir.
  • pour into 9x13 pan.
  • refrigerate until thickened.
  • add the crushed pineapple, bananas, and marshmallows.
  • refrigerate until set.
  • frost with custard frosting (you will make this with the next steps).
  • Cook Juice, sugar, and flower combined, and egg over low heat until thick.
  • remove from heat and cool.
  • when cool add cool whip or whipped cream.
  • frost the jello.
  • sprinkle with grated cheese.
