Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 pkg. chocolate bits
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Cream margarine, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs; beat well.
  • Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Beat well.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool and eat.
