Ingredients

  • 1 (4 serving) pkg. instant mashed potatoes
  • 1/3 c. pancake mix
  • 1 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 Tbsp. finely snipped parsley

Method

  • Prepare potatoes according to package directions.
  • Add pancake mix, onion soup mix and snipped parsley.
  • Drop from tablespoon, a few at a time, into deep hot fat (350°).
  • Fry 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, turning occasionally to brown all sides.
  • Drain on absorbent paper.
  • Makes 18 tablespoon size or about 30 smaller ones.
  • Serve as hors d'oeuvres or vegetable.
