Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 box potato starch
  • oil for frying
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar

Method

  • Cut chicken wings into 3 parts. Discard wing tips or save for soup. Dip other 2 parts in egg dust with potato starch and fry for about 2 minutes on both sides, but don't brown. Place wings on cookie sheet lined with foil. Pour sweet and sour sauce over wings and bake 1 hour turning over after 1/2 hour. Bake in 350 degree oven.
  • Put all above in pan and heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
