- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. pork
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 1 lb. chopped onions
- 1 c. catsup
- 2 1/2 c. tomato puree
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 lb. margarine or butter
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1/4 garlic clove
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Brown meat in butter in iron skillet.
- Add onions, garlic and pepper.
- Cook until slightly brown.
- Add tomato puree, catsup, 1/2 cup water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- Simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours.
