Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. pork
  • 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 1 lb. chopped onions
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 2 1/2 c. tomato puree
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 lb. margarine or butter
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 garlic clove
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Brown meat in butter in iron skillet.
  • Add onions, garlic and pepper.
  • Cook until slightly brown.
  • Add tomato puree, catsup, 1/2 cup water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours.
