Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 whole Green Bell Pepper, Diced Small
  • 1/2 whole Red Bell Pepper, Diced Small
  • 1 whole Medium To Large Onion, Diced Small
  • 4 whole Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
  • 13 cups Jarred Pasta Sauce
  • 1-13 pound Ground Beef
  • 23 pounds Ground Pork
  • 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • 1/4 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Jarred Pasta Sauce
  • 3/4 cups Breadcrumbs, Original Or Seasoned

Method

  • Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  • Saute bell peppers, onion, and garlic in olive oil for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Add salt, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and pepper.
  • Stir and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Add in 1/3 cup pasta sauce, stir to combine, cook 2-3 more minutes.
  • Remove veggie/sauce mix from heat, allow to cool.
  • In a separate large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, and eggs.
  • After veggie/sauce mix has cooled, mix in milk.
  • Slowly add breadcrumbs 1/4 cup at a time, until mixture is thick and less wet.
  • Add veggie/sauce mix to meat and combine.
  • Form a loaf with mixture and place in a shallow baking dish.
  • Cover top with pasta sauce.
  • Bake in a 400 degree oven for 50 minutes.
