- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/2 whole Green Bell Pepper, Diced Small
- 1/2 whole Red Bell Pepper, Diced Small
- 1 whole Medium To Large Onion, Diced Small
- 4 whole Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
- 13 cups Jarred Pasta Sauce
- 1-13 pound Ground Beef
- 23 pounds Ground Pork
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1/4 cups Milk
- 1 cup Jarred Pasta Sauce
- 3/4 cups Breadcrumbs, Original Or Seasoned
Method
- Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
- Saute bell peppers, onion, and garlic in olive oil for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add salt, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and pepper.
- Stir and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Add in 1/3 cup pasta sauce, stir to combine, cook 2-3 more minutes.
- Remove veggie/sauce mix from heat, allow to cool.
- In a separate large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, and eggs.
- After veggie/sauce mix has cooled, mix in milk.
- Slowly add breadcrumbs 1/4 cup at a time, until mixture is thick and less wet.
- Add veggie/sauce mix to meat and combine.
- Form a loaf with mixture and place in a shallow baking dish.
- Cover top with pasta sauce.
- Bake in a 400 degree oven for 50 minutes.
