Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 23 cup chopped celery
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 14 teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
Method
- Brown ground beef with onions.
- Place in slow cooker.
- Combine remaining ingredients and add to slow cooker.
- Mix well.
- Cover and cook on low for 12 hours.
- Remove from slow cooker and allow to cool.
- Place in freezer bags or use in recipes.
- Label and freeze.
- To serve: thaw.
- Heat until hot and bubbly.
