- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 to 2 shakes garlic powder
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 envelope spatini
- 3/4 pt. sour cream
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 8 oz. shell macaroni
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- 8 oz. Provolone cheese
Method
- Brown beef and onion.
- Add garlic, tomatoes, drained mushrooms, spatini and tomato paste; simmer for 20 minutes.
- Cook and drain macaroni.
- Put half on bottom of baking dish.
- Cover with half of the meat sauce, sour cream and all of the Provolone. Layer the rest of the macaroni, meat sauce, sour cream and Mozzarella.
- Cover and bake for 25 to 40 minutes at 350°.
