Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 4 c. fresh blueberries, rinsed and drained
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. (1/2 pt.) heavy cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Fill pie shell with blueberries.
- Combine remaining ingredients and blend well.
- Pour over berries.
- Bake in a preheated hot oven at 400° for 45 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
- Cool, then chill.
