Ingredients
- 16 c. bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/3 c. margarine
- 16 to 18 oz. sausage
- 8 oz. mushrooms
- 1 can water chestnuts
Method
- Use either 3/4 pound of skinned link sausages or sausage meat shaped like links.
- I usually cook the meat part way first.
- Use either Short Crust or Flaky Pastry.
