Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. shell-roni
  • 1 (28 to 30 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 2 eggs, well beaten

Method

  • Brown ground beef, onion and garlic.
  • Cook spinach, drain, reserve liquid and add water to measure 1 cup.
  • Cook shell-roni. Add to meat mixture, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, 1 cup spinach liquid and season with salt and pepper.
  • Simmer 10 minutes.
