Ingredients

  • 12 strips bacon, fried and crumpled
  • 1/3 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Lightly grease pie plate.
  • Fry the bacon until brown.
  • Blot off excess grease with paper towel. (Crumble.)
  • Sprinkle bacon, onions, cheese and peppers on bottom of plate.
  • Mix eggs, milk, Bisquick, pepper and salt together until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into pie plate; bake 35 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
