Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 can tomato juice
- 2 strips bacon
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. Minute rice
- 1 can whole tomatoes
Method
- Cook cabbage until limp and easy to roll, but not mushy.
- Cook rice.
- Mix raw ground beef with rice.
- Season with salt and pepper. Use large cabbage leaf.
- Roll ground beef and rice mixture in cabbage as a blanket, tucking in sides.
- In large saucepan, pour tomato juice and add raw bacon strips.
- Add stuffed cabbage.
- Cook on medium heat 2 1/2 hours.
