Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. hot milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Beat eggs until light and thick.
- Add sugar.
- Beat with electric mixer 2 1/2 minutes.
- Fold sifted dry ingredients into egg and sugar mixture.
- Melt butter in hot milk and add all at once.
- The folding in of the dry ingredients and milk should take 1 minute.
- Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until done.
- I bake mine in a greased and floured angel food cake pan.
