Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla and lemon
Method
- Beat eggs; add sugar and beat well.
- Add 1 cup sifted flour. Beat well, then add 1 cup sifted flour and beat well.
- Place butter and milk in pan and bring to a boil.
- Pour immediately over batter.
- Add flavoring and beat well.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour depending on pan used, 10-inch cake pan or tube pan.
