Hot Dogs with Beer-Braised Sauerkraut - beer

Method

• In a medium pot, bring hot dogs, beer, onions, and jalapenos (if using) to a simmer.
• Let simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes.
• Add sauerkraut and cover.
• Cook another 2 to 3 minutes.
• Mix in mustard just prior to removing from heat.
• Lightly toast the buns for a few minutes in the oven.
• Put hot dogs and sauerkraut mix in bun.
• Serve.
